A piper practicing before his time in front of the judges. The sounds of bagpipes in Flagstaff will now wain as the festival has ended.
Brilliant, looks just like Scotland. I love the pipes.

@golftragic Getting asked to take shots for the festival was a nice surprise. I must admit that I'm piped out though.

@tstb13 Thank you so much. I'm sure they really didn't need much practice anyway.

@domenicododaro There were bagpipes from Spain too. Not all the pipers were tradtional- the Wicked Tinkers were a rowdy bunch. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOGG7p-EOmQ )

@ziggy77 Thank you so very kindly for the fav. I enjoyed the festival and learned that bagpipes aren't just from Scotland. The Galician Pipes are from Spain.

@Dawn I admire anyone who plays the pipes. They have such a wonderful sound.

@yaorenliu This festival has been around for 21 years and I found out that the week before many of the pipers are around town playing and performing - next year I'm going to make sure that I 'catch' them.
