More and more, and it seems in large steps and not “little by little,” this child is growing, learning, communicating and doing things by himself. His physical skills have sharpened significantly over the past month while his seemingly inherent strong sense of logic continues to guide him into figuring out how things work and how to get what he wants. Here, you can see a hint of independence in him as he leaves his parents in one room to explore another, with eyes on going to the next room solo. What I love is seeing the dog here as well, apparently deciding who he should be with: the people who feed him or the child he is bound to. Two souls entwined forever. I hope little Oso is ready, because with Diego as his partner, there will be many, many adventures.
