I spend a lot of time in these captions talking about how much my son impresses me, almost always using some variation of an arbitrary age versus skill metric. He’s only two! Look at him walk the balance beam. He’s 20 months and working an iPad. He’s not even two and he’s signing the alphabet song clearly. Etc, etc, and on it goes, my limitless parental pride and his constant growth, learning, and improvement. Here, at just recently two years old, he attempts to fix the vacuum cleaner and were his toy drill have come with the correct size bit, I believe he would have removed the cover off the machine! His focus here simply astounds me.
