Well I'm way behind but now that both birds have flown the nest I hope to have a bit more time and a bit more 'umph' to get back on to things. We are experiencing the tail end of Hurricane Henri at the moment ie it's chucking it down, so this is a photo taken at St John's last week when the weather was a little more clement.
A glorious day here Judith...sorry to rub it in! You are childless.......hope you are keeping your chin up! Not so bad if they keep you in the info loop, it's when you don't hear news of settling that it gets hard! Still no news is good news!
@happypat@jgpittenger Well they are both independent so it's not a complete shock but it's been a long time since they've both been away at once. I must say that it's pretty tidy and I haven't actually tidied yet! I imagine it will start to kick in after a few days when nobody is coming home (though Adam has to drop in for his laptop and some other stuff so I might fall apart after that's happened!!)
@judithg It's good that Adam is far enough away to be independent but can pop back for a feed now & again! Lydia feels the same about Manchester...just a enough!
Super shot - the hurricane weather was a bit late in coming today - thank goodness. I fitted in a trip to the allotment and a game of tennis before the rain really set in.
