The last few weeks I have noticed how this tractor is slowly getting taken over by the watermelons growing in this market garden.. so yesterday I decided that I had best stop for a photo .. I don't know why the tractor was left sitting in the paddock after planting but it certainly can not be shifted until harvest .. and the watermelons have a bit more growing to do yet ...
Very cool find. It always amazes me when farmers leave equipment out in the field - really should have been taken out when it broke down because it will only be harder to repair after sitting there all summer.
A wonderful photo Julz....love this tractor & it's added greenery! It will be interesting seeing how long it's stays there! Nice contrasts of colour there in the vegetation too.

TYF the correction. 'Weeds', aka watermelons are welcome here anytime. Uncertain whether our climate could adequately support them though:-((
Well spotted, and I'm glad you stopped to take a photo. You've reminded me that we have a plant in our garden that I've nicknamed the triffid, and I've been meaning to photograph it too!
That's hilarious, so glad you got the shot. Looks like a pretty old tractor but it obviously still functions cos it's got a new what I think is an oil filter. Not going anywhere any time soon as you said.
