Went to one of my favourite Cafe's today .. just love all the 'stuff' they have about... love these two stone bottles... don't know why the eye bath is matched up with them...
Really nice shot - love the horse's rear end…. @annied - you best have a ferret around in your cupboard and see what other photographic gems you have hidden away! Why the eye bath is there is a mystery - maybe rum cures all!
Fabulous bottles. I would love those in my collection. Maybe the eyebath is so that you can rinse your eyes when you believe your sight is going and don't realize that it is because you have had too much of the port or the rum.
@happypat We still use glasses Pat.... Saw the cutest thing today.. While at this Café and elderly couple came in.. (late 80's) sat down at 'their' table.. Mr had a little blue gift bag with him so presumed they were meeting someone for Bday celebrations... know one came... they ordered and received their meal .. Mrs... Scrambled egg, Mr Soup n toast... out came the bag.. in it a mini bottle of Sherry and 1 glass.. They shared the drink,.... shared each of their meals.. clean plates empty bottle... and packed away glass and bottle and went home... I think they are regulars ... was so sweet to see... probably a weekly treat...
@julzmaioro oh how sweet...obviously a routine they were used to.....they don't make them like that anymore...just one glass, priceless!
