I got this beautiful Tagine for my birthday from my daughter and family, .. Used it for the 1st time today and it cooked the Chicken and Apricot with chick peas.. beautifully.. Told Dianne @dide that I would post a photo if it turned out well.. it was so lovely and tender...
Looks delicious.

That looks delicious. I don't think I have ever seen one of these, but it looks like it works beautifully.

@karlow75 It worked a treat Kane.. The 'cone' creates steam that keeps casserole moist..

I have wanted one of those for ages but they are expensive & I havent a clue how to use one.....do they go in the oven ...they seem too tall. Perhaps straight on top of the stove & the steam consort of the top ? Anyway great looking meal.

Looks yummy! Mine was a birthday present too and has been wonderful. I don't use it too often as it is a big one, but so easy - I do a chicken and olive Tagline, just layer it up and let it steam!

Oh I'd like one of those - is anyone listening I wonder? Do they work any better than just a casserole dish?

@happypat @busylady Fantastic 1 st attempt.. It is started on the stove top to do the browning then covered and put in oven (though I did come across a recipe that was all stove top) I have a thermowave oven so just had to remove one rack.. @fishers Ian I think Katharine is dropping a hint.. would be very beneficial to you... Thank you all for your comments.. @andy3168 @seattlite @jackie8 @anazad511 @pitasmum @thresheg @lorrainelouise @tonydebont @onewing @dide
