Little Sparrow...

While at the 'Winter Gardens' today we were in the hot house and this little sparrow was having a field day hopping around on the water lilies getting little bugs amongst the leaves..

Lovely shot. It seems everywhere the British migrated, they took sparrows with them. I still don't get that.

@julzmaioro Absolutely agree - NZ has also been ravaged by our possums and much as I respect people liking cats, they have caused more extinctions in Australia than any other animal - when they go wild.

bovine TB and they suspect it is caused by the possums and ferrel deer..
