Finally got some caterpillars on my swan plant.. the butterfly's would lay the eggs and then never turn into caterpillars.. I think the wasps were getting them... well I have lots now just hope the plant can sustain them all..
I love the pov - you have made a neat image of this little chap. I must check our plant, as it seems the leaves are missing, so there must be some caterpillars there somewhere!
@happypat I have I planted the Swan Plants last year, but they got stripped by the caterpillars.. but this year the plants have done really well so plenty of food for them.. they do not eat any thing else so good to have in the garden ..
Super macro, Julie and I love your caption too. Did you know that the bigger caterpillars can feed on raw pumpkin, so if you get too many and you don't want to do away, with any just transfer them to a box with slivers of pumpkin available and a few twigs or something that they can hang chrysalises from.
