Jail Bird Spider...

Made up name... Happened to notice this guy on the wall of the house he was kinda standing out as he had a big arrow on his back.. never seen one like it.. if anyone know it's name please tell me.. The 'Arrow' had the look and texture of lichen.. very weird..

Had my daughter's boyfriend check it out. He's a pest exterminator and really into his bugs. Reckons it's an orb weaver.

@deliad Thanks for that Delia but just looked on line and none of them had the 'arrow' on their back.. have sent the pic to TePapa so see what comes back from there..

Will be interesting to see what they say. I checked spider ID sites on line last night and didn't see anything like it. Nothing better than a good mystery. Good luck with the search and please let me know the results
