This is one from the files.. Back to our ( @dide ) and mine trip to the South Island back in July.. We visited this Dam that at times in the winter is completely frozen over and ice skating can be done on it.. you can see the line of the frozen water across the lower part of this image.. love the rugged rocks skirting this dam..
