alternate composition challenge #1

@m9f9l Mary challenged me to try different compositions this week. I chose something I was seeing every day as I commute to Leipzig, and decided to try it from different perspectives and contexts. Typically, this is something I would have walked right past because it isn't all that appealing to me, but learning to appreciate things differently is part of what I see in this challenge. The typical straight-on view was posted yesterday in:

And here's attempt #1 at an alternate composition for the get-pushed-34 challenge. I like that the spiral staircase is more visible in this one -- in fact, don't you think this really redefines the concept of "spiral staircase" when it goes on and on and on?

I've been playing with stadium lights/[poles and perspective, but only have the light-set on 365. Now that I see this, I'll keep trying! :)

Great pov! Yes, much more dramatic than the typical view, and that spiral staircase looks like a challenge...

I really like this perspective, I think it's much more dynamic that one that's straight-on. I didn't pay much attention to the staircase in the first shot, but it features much more on this, perhaps also because of the way the light is playing off of it.
