It was 8:30 pm, and I took a "shot in the dark" with camera handheld and set on automatic. It was one of those desperate moments of, "It's too late to take a photo outside tonight but maybe my camera is smarter than I am." Wishful thinking, anyway. Much later in the night, I put the card into the computer and was surprised to see that there was a bug drinking from the flower! But, of course, everything about the photo was poor quality. ISO 12800 = grainy; f/2.8 with very little in focus; 1/10 -- what could possibly be in focus handheld at that shutter speed ??? Oh, well. Some days/nights, this is the best I can do.
ETSOOI, obviously. Super cropped, levels, highlighting, shadows, sharpening, darkening, exposure, curves, vignette, repair -- did I miss any adjustment I could have made???
Heehee! Your sense of humor is spot on! But the processing really worked as the little guy is crystal clear (followed directions and did not view large!).
haha...I viewed large....and it looks like the little bug is using one of the pistols/stamens (can never keep them straight and it's too late to look them up) as a microphone!! Maybe he's crooning to a lady-bug!
