Yes, none other than the incomparable Michael Elliott. Taffy and I had SUCH FUN with Michael, comparing settings, trying out each other's recommendations, moving about carrying our tripods, trying various spots and even posing for each other.
Junko, the shot is beautiful and I recognize the place (I took one very similar to yours, who knows when I finish editing and sorting my American photos!!!)
I was sure you'd have fun: Michael @michaelelliott is really precious company and a super expert adviser. Hope to see your shots and Taffy's @taffy soon .
It's interesting to see how you all ended up with different interpretations of the same scene. I'm very jealous of you being in NYC and with the famous Michael Elliot!
Wow another fab shot of that wonderful NY skyline. I love how the three shots you all took are so different!! Lucky Taffy and you to have a walkabout with the great ME!! Fav of course!!
What a wonderful capture, I was especially drawn to the pink tower. I have never taken a night shot of the city. Must visit my local city of Toronto and try some night shots. You have inspired me.
I'm dying! THIS IS GREAT. SO JEALOUS. Can I scream in caps enough? @michaelelliott@taffy, wow, just wow. I'm commenting here, as I'm heading out of town, but gosh, just love what you all have done (I've seen all of your albums). Yay!
I saw an episode of The Blacklist tonight where James Spader was sat on one of these benches. I recognised it straight away and you got a name check in my house!
