There was a terrace to the flat where I stayed with @caterina and husband, and this was the view of the countryside. I like how the fog and distant weather created haze, yet the closeup areas clearly showed the olive trees growing nearby.
Your marvelous photo captures so much that speaks of what visitors love about Tuscany! To keep that rare beauty, it didn't miss my eye that while they're harnessing sunlight, they manage to keep it from destroying the visual charm of the region by surrounding it with Cyprus trees!
@will_wooderson -- you live in the UK, right? But I just checked your project and. you are in Lucignana? And I was in Lucignano! I started out in Bologna (those photos not yet posted except for one) and then drove through Tuscany and small towns and ended up in Rome before heading home. If we were close by I'm sorry we didn't know or we could have arranged a meetup. I was with @caterina and eventually with @domenicododaro
