Working the River

There is a barge with a large crane docked on the East Providence side of the Seekonk River, directly across from India Point Park. I haven't found anyone that knows what they are doing, but speculation includes moving the high tension power lines to an underwater conduit across the river. The crane is certainly docked in the right spot for that. What caught my attention today, though, was the small tug tethered to the crane. The two-man crew was unloading cartons onto the barge while I was there taking this photo. I'm drawn to photos of tug boats in the first place, and capturing a shot of the two men working the boat and barge sealed the deal on this photo.

Post processing today started in Topaz Adjust. I applied a brilliant warm filter and then adjusted the adaptive exposure, contrast, adaptive saturation, and saturation sliders. In PSE I applied a deep blue filter to the sky and then did a levels adjustment on everything except the sky.
