I went to Newport with a friend today, taking advantage of some beautiful weather. On the way back to the car we stopped in this fudge shop. While she was picking out some treats, I grabbed this photo of the candy maker mixing up a new batch of chocolate heaven. I was tempted to do this in black and white - the contrast is ideal for it - but I was too thrilled with the deep caramel color of the fudge.
Post processing started with a brilliant warm filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
