I set out this afternoon to photograph the fruit trees in bloom at Blanchard Farm in Scituate. Just as I was packing up to head home, I spotted these four cyclists heading up the road. Placing them as the foreground in the orchard shot dramatically raises the dynamics of the overall composition. It also provided the opportunity to show the warmth of the day. It feels like spring may finally have arrived.
Post processing started with a warm tone filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, and contrast. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
