Today (Friday, 27 December) was such a pretty afternoon. I stopped at St. James Farm for a bit, just to look around and take some pictures. The farm was owned by the McCormick family (of International Harvester) who were horseback riding enthusiasts. The last surviving family member to live on the property (Brooks McCormick) transferred it to DuPage County in 2000.
September 2015 - I dropped my Nikon L22 at the arboretum (on asphalt!) and it's definitely broken. :(
