Heida

I'm not very satisfied with this shot. Too much sun and horses just standing there looking bored. Anyway, this is Heida, one of many icelandic horses at the stable where I keep my own horse. I find it very difficult to shoot horses as they appear in my head. I will keep trying.

Lovely textures. I think it's harder to capture when we like something. The emotions come.

I will try this again when they sky is overcast to avoid the harsh light. @ljmanning Agree about that it would look better with a bit more of her neck. I just cropped it away because she is shaved on half of her neck and that looked really awkward in b&w.
