One truly wonders sometimes how thin branches can hold up the weight of a koala. It just wouldn't see like enough to hold on to for me, even if I was holding on with all four hands!
@llindi thanks so much for such a quick fav! @salza some of them have really soft velvety fur and some are quite harsh. health is important as you might imagine for how soft their fur will be. their noses are weird aren't they!
I do wonder if they come crashing out of trees in high winds. We recently saw a koala with his bottom perched snuggly on a very short branch with a very small diameter. Great shot BTW :)
@hermann Sally they do occasionally come down sadly, but not often. I often take video when it is windy of the way they sway wildly about! can't believe how they just curl tight and sleep regardless! thanks for enjoying :)
@onlyme111@moviegal1@cjphoto@yeshanghai@cashew@888rachel@pamknowler@happysnaps I'm delighted at the comments and how much everyone are enjoying these photos. The favs are truly appreciated as well.
He does have a big belly, it's always exciting to see this on a koala as it's a great sign of good health.
Because of your wonderful response I'm stunned to see I've made it to the TRENDING page again! Overwhelmed with how well received the photos are. THANK YOU ALL!
