I put a photo up of this just after the storm. Now that the leaves have all died off it really is an eyesore. This branch would be at least 15 m long. I can however see that the tips caught in the red gum on the left are starting to decay. So I guess one day the weight of the branch will cause the tips to break and it will come down.
I'm going to be paranoid mowing under there until then! Definitely won't be mowing there if there is any wind at all!
