colours of spring

The new growth on the swamp mahogany is a beautiful red at this time of the year.
However that red needs goes through the koala digestive system and it's the kidneys that finally deal with it. This means that at times we walk into a run in the care centre and for a moment think a koala has been bleeding, but it's just red urine :)
