How laid back can one koala be I ask you? I'm pretty sure Stevie has a joey in pouch and is starting to fee the pressure - still a few months before it will emerge so patience, patience .... thank you for the many thoughtful comments on my photos
@jesika2 I'm sure they invented yoga ;) @fr1da It's very exciting, promise of koalas surviving a bit longer! Koalas are marsupials and that means they give birth after only a month to a tiny, hairless barely developed young. This 'pinkie' as we call them, is the size of a jelly bean, and it crawls up into mum's pouch, attaches to a teat for milk, and continues to develop there. So she isn't really pregnant, the joey in this case has been in her pouch for around 3 months. At around 6 months old they have usually come right out of the pouch, but still get back in and still drink milk for a while. They are amazing animals.
This beats all, talk about laid back...Gorgeous Stevie, I would give her a whole bunch of grapes...Ha-Ha, by the way..would a koala eat a grape??? Big Fav
@happysnaps now that is the best question I've ever been asked - would a koala eat a grape if handed to her in the tree .... I have seen video of a koala eating an apple so anything is possible! I'm going to chuckle over that one all day

Wish we could cuddle them.
