Two strategies - put as much of your body against the cool branch and spread your toes to let the air through. It was just cooling down nearly hitting 40 degrees and so humid we were drinking the air.

And yet his fur is ridiculously thick and dense. Nature's adaptation strategies are astonishing. He looks cool enough, obviously humans don't feel as comfortable.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond funny because I have never liked the peak heat of the humid summer. Yet I've lived in the northern rivers region for about 35 years now and wouldn't live anywhere else! I always remind myself that we don't get snow and that would be harder on the other extreme!
@pusspup no the fur coat insulates, so if they lay their belly against a cool tree trunk, they can keep their body temperature well controlled :) nature has it all in hand
