I found it interesting to revisit this photo that I did an early texture attempt on - I think this is a far better result even if the first attempt was nice.

Thank you for the feedback on these as I have worked out a style and process that suits her.
Both are lovely ,but I think I love the clarity of the 1st one while in this one the texturing is beautiful and softening but has made her face look rather pinched and wizen .
I prefer the first one. This one IMO, has made her too fuzzy without a defining outline. I think one can tell that a texture has been applied in both of them but I don't mind that. One thing I do like better about this one is that it has more of her right ear in shot (the one on the left of the picture).
Interesting to compare the two and to read the comments. I think my preference - though I like both - would be this one for the natural habitat with her.
I just read all the comments and took a look at the other shot. although angel looks better on it, it is too much of a portrait format for my liking. there should be a bit more around her. that is why I prefer this one ;-)
