Nothing better than a koala eating lots. The kindy kids seem to be doing very well and have already been here 2 weeks. I expect they don't have a lot of time left here, maybe a week or so.
I am sure you feels so proud to see them doing so well at the kindy and I am sure that there will be some regrets to see them go ! Love that alert look and the round and healthy tummy ! fav
Another lovely portrait. Are there enough trees in the kindy to keep 3 koalas for a decent time or do you need to leave down time for the vegetation to regenerate before introducing the next batch of koalas?
@gardencat there's nearly 50 trees in there and we just had a break of about 4 months to let it recover. I think there are 2 more youngsters to come, then we are done for the orphans from 2020 and we see how many come into care this year and it will have some months break again. We will have to do a bit of work in there after the last lot and cut the tops out of many of the trees as if they get too tall we can't flag them out to remove them 😂
