what's in a name?

Yep these are called blue-tongue lizard - a type of skink.

This lovely fella is about 2 feet long and has moved into the garden just at the front of the house so I'm getting to see him/her a lot which is making me very happy!

@rickster549 oh no they are gorgeous - very slow moving and gentle, very popular with children :) I forgot to add the bit of video which shows how slow they are

@fr1da thanks, I was determined and so had to follow him about the gravel driveway for quite a while to get this shot! :) persistence paid off in the end
