White Headed Pigeon

Funnily enough that is the name of these birds. It's hard to describe just how big these are, the photo doesn't give any idea, but they are around 42cm long. Interestingly they are one of our natives that have learned to thrive on the invasive camphor laurel berries. Thank you for being part of my project.

Wonderful capture, we don't see them around my home, but, at Australia Zoo they have quite a number & yes, they are a big bird.
