Continuing on with my bird bath series - I can't believe after wanting to capture this bower bird by photo for years, I managed him twice in one week. This is a different day and I think I stopped breathing for about 5 minutes straight!
I might apply the oil painting to the series too since I have to shoot through so many obstacles :)
I was thrilled to get his reflection as his beak touched the water.
Great opportunities! I was wondering, if this is your backyard, why not set up a blind with an unobstructed view of your bird bath that your avian visitors can get used to, and then you would not have to use the 'oil painting' setting?
