The variety of birds that use this ranges from tiny wrens to large pigeons, I wonder how many different birds I'll manage to catch this month as timing is everything after all ...
Since I replaced all lawn in the backyard with native gardens the range of birds using this has increased enormously as they have shelter as they bathe and drink. Not that the butcher birds were ever concerned on that front ... while these are incredible predators, they are also one of our best song birds.
