the magpie is larger than the butcherbird and you can see their beak is large, but no hook. They feed by walking along searching the ground for tasties
Another lovely shot, you do have such a variety of lovely birds.

Are they related to the pee wee? My son was flown at by one of those when we were in Aussie (pre-covid of course...).

@christinav they look like tiny magpies don't they, and they are also commonly called a 'magpie lark' here, but they are not related at all
