The tawnies move around and sleep in a different tree nearly every day so they are making me work for photos!

these actually nest relatively low to the ground, usually only 3-4 m. They are not owls, they are tawny frogmouths, tho they do look a bit like owls. they are insectivores and snatch insects from the air with their beaks as they fly. :)
