After our hike in Paradise Meadows (thanks for all the comments on my last two images) we drove down the hill and headed for the Oyster River Potholes. It was kind of grey day so we had the place to ourselves. I'm standing on a large bridge that is the highway. There's a small path that leads you down to the river. Those are sandstone rocks that have been shaped by the river's water. It's cold but refreshing and the kids like to jump of the cliffs. You'll notice the little X. That's where my son jumped in this shot: http://365project.org/kwind/extra-shots/2016-08-24
Lovely river shot! Reminds me of our river in Scotland where there are lots of pothole rocks and the water is pretty cold too. We did a lot of jumping as kids, not now though!!!
