After our Statue of Liberty tour we wandered around Lower Manhattan and stopped to explore the VERY old Trinity church cemetery. It is located across from Wall Street and is surrounded by many large skyscrapers. The grave markers date back to the 1700s. Best viewed large and against black.
Love these little pockets of country in a big city. We have parks etc but a wee graveyard is definitely a perfect resting place. Love the light filtering through the leaves from above.
When I first saw this I thought you were in Boston at the cemetery where Benjamin Franklin, et. al. is buried- then I read the commentary! The lighting is great and so is the shot!
