My Princess Niece by kwind

My Princess Niece

I must say THANK YOU to those who keep commenting and fav'ing despite my poor attendance here on 365. My life has been consumed with family adventures for over a week now but things are slowing down and I hope to return more actively in the next day or two!

Our latest escapade had 12 of us traveling three hours south to Victoria to explore and visit with extended family. We went to Butchart's Garden last night and then went for high tea at the world famous Empress Hotel this morning. This is a photo of my 6 year old niece after it was all over. Her beautiful dress started scratching and she got a little upset and went and sat on a deserted staircase. She saw me taking the photo and covered her face as tears were falling.
Lovely shot

Such a perfect shot. Mine is 3, so she would still be laying splayed in the middle of the floor at this point instead of huddled so elegantly.
