We rented a convertible and drove around the island of Oahu today. We stopped at a beach called Lanikai. It was stunning! These are prints of my feet. Thought I'd try it in b&w. It's just an iPhone shot.
I would love to see my footprints in beach sand right now! Quite a nice memory of time at the beach, cropped at a bit of an angle and framed. I like it!
What fun. Nice memory. A few of my lady friends and I used to go for a "girls' trip" to the beach and we took a photo of ourselves every time. Often they involved bare feet, too.
Like Babs @onewing said above, I see the footprints raised. Only when I stare at the image for a bit do I end up seeing the footprints indented intothe sand. Such a neat optical illusion! I'm faving this to show my husband. What fun!
Great textures! I recall you do a 'feet' shot when you travel -- this one captures the sense of place really well. Jim and I thought the dolphin program at Kahala Resort was fascinating. I don't like the idea of dolphins in captivity, but this seemed to be a well respected program, not simply using the creatures to entertain.
