April has been a crazy adventurous month for us.... between our trip to Kaua'i and the Tulip Festival in Washington, we were treated to two nights at a private resort close to home. Here's the background: My husband has a construction company and frames up apartments. One of his biggest clients is a multimillionaire who has this AMAZING retreat on Stuart Island. He flew us in his private helicopter and we were treated to chef cooked meals and salmon fishing in a 38' top of the line Boston Whaler. It was truly like being on lifestyles of the rich and famous. We never paid a cent (but we left a big tip for the workers) and were waited on hand and foot! I'm really hoping he invites us back!! Anyhow, I took this from the helicopter on our way to the place a couple of weeks ago.
An absolutely magnificent shot of -- yes -- beautiful British Columbia.. This definitely looks like the island area. Stunning shot. Lets here ore about your "life of the rich and famous" experience.
That sounds amazing. What a view. This is a very beautiful part of the world and I have always enjoyed the scenery when I have visited. Glad you were able to enjoy this opportunity and I hope you do get to do it again.
That is so slick! Congrats on your good fortune but your husband is probably a real good guy! Send him a framed photo as a thank you gift. Maybe he'll invite you back for a photo shoot
Spectacular aerial view! You certainly had an exciting adventure. The scenery in British Columbia and the Puget Sound area are quite similar in terms of the waterways formed by glaciers and the magnificent trees and blue skies. I love that area and try to visit as often as I can. Lucky you--you live there!!
