I take lots of photos but the majority live on my computer and are only seen via Facebook or in my yearly hard cover photo book. Every once in a while I make a point of going through my images and making hard copies of favourites. Today I had this printed and then stuffed it into a plastic dollarstore frame. I took it using a tripod and self timer last month in front of that giant row of cherry trees that I posted here: http://365project.org/kwind/365/2017-04-20 For those that have followed me for a while you'll recognize my crew. My daughter is 17 and my son (who is standing on his tiptoes) will be 14 in a month. He is basically the same height as his sister.
This is beautiful. I spent a lot of time framing earlier in the year. I must take a shot of my CD wall at some point. I basically took the idea of the album cover challenge and then used shots of the kids to make up fake CD covers. There are 42 in all and they almost stretch the length of the wall. I also have a 'gallery' of 8 nature shots in my passageway xx
I love your title. It's so important to print family photos especially, one day you will be so glad you did and so will your children. There is something to be said about holding a photo in your hand. I just scanned a 26 year old photo of me and my mom to post on Facebook, I'm so glad I have always printed family photos. This is such a great family portrait and I love that frame! Fav!
Gorgeous family photo, I think framing the photo really adds to the shot. Just goes to show you don't need an expensive frame to make a photo look so good.
Lovely family portrait. I hardly ever print and frame anything. I have been invited to join an exhibition next month so I must get myself sorted and get some pictures printed.
This is a lovely family shot. I tend to make photo books of our trips, but rarely print anything else. Even my camera club is digital. It's a habit that I need to break,. Thanks for the reminder :)
Beautiful portrait of your family! I do the same thing, most of my photos live on my hard drive so I need to get busy and make some new prints to enjoy.
Crafty boy! You are absolutely right of course, have your best photos on show! That's the only trouble with today's tech stuff everything is on computer! I do like to see loved photos on display. A lovely family group.
