This was the view from my bedroom last night. Cruise ships travel up and down the coast line of east Vancouver Island on their way to Alaska from Vancouver and Seattle from May until the end of September. It's great laying in bed watching them pass. In fact, it's like I have a sixth sense because I've woken the last two nights about 1:30am to boats outside the window. The flag is new... my husband installed it back on July 1st for Canada's birthday.
What a wonderful sight to watch - my walking partner will be passing by you the beginning of August on one of those cruises. Colors and lighting are wonderful.
