A quick iPhone shot from the deck of the BC Ferry we took to get home from Vancouver tonight.
My Son had a second appointment at BC Children's Hospital this morning. We saw a surgeon but it was a waste of time because in the past month his health has improved immensely - thank goodness!!! When we were there four weeks ago there was talk of removing his colon (he has colitis) but the remicade infusions finally kicked in and he's on the mend. I tried to cancel the appointment but they still wanted to meet. We were there 20 minutes, told his story and I politely told them I don't plan on every seeing them again! They laughed and agreed surgery is not an option at this point! We spent the rest of the day being tourists and didn't get home until late. Thanks for all your positive comments. I'll check in with everyone tomorrow!
Good news -- I am sure you are so pleased that everything sounds positive for your son , and you found a super image to illustrate your ray of hope as the sun glistens on the water !
