Gingerbread

Before we left Victoria this morning we stopped to check out a display of Christmas gingerbread masterpieces. It's a fundraising event that happens every year for several weeks around Xmas. They will not be eaten! This one was one of my favourites!

This is fabulous. We construct a gingerbread house every year for Thanksgiving we did another one this year and it turned out great.

They are quite amazing. I'm not sure about making gingerbread which wont be eaten though. Seems a waste! Makes quite a change from Christmas tree decoration displays.
