@summerfield@shepherdmanswife@kerosene Thanks for asking about Gage. I wish I had better news to report but he's still in pain. He hasn't been to school in over 3 weeks. We're trying all kinds of natural remedies including going wheat and dairy free but nothing is really helping.
I find this portrait so reflective of him and his struggle right now. It's quite moving. I will keep praying for him. This must be so hard on you too because like all moms I know you'd take it for him if you could.

Wonderful light on this. And the dark around is so indicative of the focussed concentration on the game to the exclusion of all else. but I read he is in much pain. I am so sorry. My eldest grew up with little else but medical appointments and invasive surgery. It is a tough tough journey for you all to bear.
@kwind in this day and age it's so frustrating... I can't imagine. I really hope some relief is on the horizon for him, poor thing! He's lucky he's well surrounded with you guys...
