Beautiful scenery! As I think about it... it is kind of amazing that you have to drive 30 minutes to find snow, this time of year, in Canada (but maybe that is routine for you, as you are near the water?).
@rosiekerr My part of Canada (Vancouver Island) is relatively warm all year long. Some call it the Banana Belt. We don't get much snow here at all. Today I drove to Mount Washington Ski Resort.

we just had a bit more snow last night and there's some on my balcony floor! what i would be looking for if i had to drive for hours is a spectacular scenery like this! aces, kim. aces!
