WWII Bomber by kwind

WWII Bomber

On Jan. 2nd my husband and I hiked an hour through mud and peat bogs to find this WWII Bomber that crashed on Radar Hill near Tofino in 1945. It was an incredible experience! The plane is in amazing condition for its age and was so cool to see. This is fascinating...I find I'm having the same reaction (queasiness) as I have when I have done dives to sunken ships. Something is not where it is supposed to be and reflects loss of life. As an imagine, this is terrific.

I never cease to be amazed how people can be so resourceful in such circumstances. Whilst I accept this, much is owed to the high level of appropriate training and personal calibre which enables them all to escape. Thank you for the comprehensive explanatory link.
