Hi guys.... it's been a while since I posted. Life has been good. My son is doing so well that my husband and I left the kids at home and went to Portugal for two weeks at the end of May/beginning of June. We had an amazing time and I took zillions of photos! I thought I'd share some of my images with you over the next while.
This image was taken in Lisbon, where the streets and sidewalks are made of individually placed stones - some in beautiful patterns.
you know, i was thinking of you a few hours ago and i told myself i should drop you a line on your album, and now, there you are. i hope all is well with you and the family. the boy is well now, isn't he?
@summerfield The boy is awesome... up 25 pounds since his lowest point in the hospital. I have my child back. He's got two friends over this second and they are outside playing baseball. Life is good!
What great news about your son! Looking forward to seeing your Portugal images! How wonderful that you were able to get away for a much needed holiday!
So good to see you back and pleased to hear your son is so much better. It must be such a relief to see him well again. Glad you and hubby were able to get some time together away from all the distress you have encountered recently.

Welcome back, Kim, so nice to see you again. I'm really happy for your son and you, heartwarmingly good news! I was in Lisbon last year and loved it, the only limit to photographing was battery and memory card! I shot also this very walkway!
Hey, hello Kim! I noticed you commented on one of my photos and was happy to see your face! Lovely to have you back and so nice to hear that Gage is doing well. :-) Lisbon is not a city I know, but I'd love to get myself over there. This is a great image!
How wonderful you got to go away after all the stress of your son's illness. Glad he's doing better. Looking forward to great photos. This seems like a new beginning type of photo.
