My sister and her kids (in foreground) are here visiting from Australia so I took them to Tofino for two days. The place is famous for its beaches and surfing. Despite it being summer, the water is cold. The giant Pacific Ocean is right there and there's signs suggesting people wear wet suits but these skinny kids virtually ran from the car (they had been sitting in the car for 3 hours) into the ocean, clothes and all!
Wow! That's a big wave that looks as though it might knock them over. Kids don't seem to feel the cold when thee is something interesting to see and do.
