I carved the one on the left and my daughter did the one on the right. Kids are too old to trick or treat and we don't get little kids where we live so the 3 of us visited a local haunted house tonight. I hope your Halloween was fun and eventful!
Great carving! Do you roast the pumpkin seeds? We don’t have any children around to trick or treat either. People bring car and truck loads in from other places though. We finally made the decision not to participate because they aren’t local children. Our great grandsons live too far away to come over. 😢
@peadar Not a real haunted house. A family down the road does an elaborate Halloween display. Entrance is by donation and this year the money collected went to a local boy with cancer.
@louannwarren This was the first year we roasted the seeds. My daughter did it! We live on an 'old highway'. All the properties are deep with long driveways. I doubt kids ever trick or treated in this area as it's just not that safe and way too much work!
Sometimes miss carving especially when there are no pumpkin seeds to enjoy...hopefully when Brooks gets older I can join in the fun again! Hope you weren't too scared at the haunted house! Great carving efforts!
