Balance!

My 51 year old husband has pretty good balance. I was too scared to take my hands off while we did our 34.5km bike ride today!

Good for you doing that ride!! We have a 'bike the Drive' here in Chicago, along Lake Shore Drive which is closed for cars for the event. But, today's event did not take place of course. Like you, I can't take my hands of the handle...impressed with your husband's skill!

We used to think it so easy to take our hands off the handlebars...wouldn’t dare now...love cycling & the freedom it gives you but haven’t been on a bike for years! We have to negotiate a rather dangerous hill As soon as we leave our lane...let’s put me off!
