Great, sharp focus and a very apt picture for today.I have just started on 365 recently and, like you, am learning so much from others on here and enjoying sharing different views of the world. Just came across your project and have loved viewing your terrific shots. Very envious of your life in France! I'm an Australian living in Britain and loving it. How fortunate we are to be able to explore the world!
@colleenculhane It is a public holiday here, but not in the UK, where it is known as VE Day. There are stories in the British papers though, where were you on VE Day, that sort of thing.
@mazaz Thankyou for your comments. Yes, we are privileged to live in a different culture, especially so for photographers. I am going to follow you and l look forward to seeing what an Australian finds interesting, incongruous, eccentic, appalling or delightful about my country!

No one pays any attention to it here in the USA. I wonder if it gets more attention in Europe.
